Mechanical Technician

Offshore Oil & Gas | Indonesian Only 🚨

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Technician (Third Party) to support offshore oil & gas operations through safe, reliable, and cost-effective maintenance of static and rotating equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Preventive & corrective maintenance of rotating and static equipment
• Troubleshooting, inspection, testing, and repair of GTGs, compressors, pumps, and auxiliaries
• Maintenance of vessels, piping, valves, pressure relief devices, and process packages
• Support Solar Gas Turbine Generator (GTG) maintenance activities with OEM/vendor coordination
• Develop and implement JSA and ensure compliance with PTW procedures
• Support offshore shutdowns, turnarounds, commissioning, and start-up activities
• Maintain records and reporting using CMMS (SAP preferred)
• Participate in HSE initiatives, audits, toolbox talks, and emergency response activities
• Support maintenance of LSA and firefighting equipment
• Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support offshore

Qualifications & Experience

• Technical Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
• Minimum 10 years of offshore Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Process Industry experience
• Strong knowledge of HSE Management Systems and PTW
• Proven experience with GTGs, compressors, pumps, fin fan coolers, vessels, piping, and valves
• Experience supporting Solar GTG maintenance activities is preferred
• Hands-on experience with CMMS/SAP
• Strong troubleshooting, teamwork, and communication skills
• Able to work on Onshore (Gresik) and offshore (East Java) rotational schedules 14:14

Preferred Certifications

• OEM/Vendor training on Gas Turbines, Compressors, or Rotating Equipment
• Rigging & Lifting / Mechanical Fitting / Pressure Equipment Maintenance Training
• Experience supporting statutory or third-party inspections
• Certified Pedestal Crane Operator (MIGAS or DISNAKER)
