1. Domestic Purchasing & Logistics – Clerk, Customs Coordination Offsite

Description

  1. Review, analyze, and finalize shipping documents including manifest, PO item, invoices, packing list, weight, packages, HS codes, import permit, Repair and Return Clearance, Personal Effect Documents, BoL/AWB, COO. Submit Import Declaration /PIB in timely manner, ensure correctness, completeness and comply with Indonesian Customs Regulation and related GOI regulations. Identify any incompliance, provide analysis, and propose solution for further supervisor review and decision to avoid incompliance and clearance delay.
  2. Review, analyze, and finalize export document, including Repair and Return Clearance, Shipment Schedule, ROA, COA, Invoice, packing list, LC/AP confirmation, HS code, Royalty Payment Receipt, Surveyor Report, Export permit and quota, and COO. Submit Export Declaration /PEB in timely manner, ensure correctness, completeness and comply with Indonesian Customs Regulation and related GOI regulations. Identify any incompliance, provide analysis, and propose solution for further supervisor review and decision to avoid Shipment delay and or clearance delay.
  3. Analyze and provide confirmation of pre alert documents draft including manifest, HS code, packing list, bill of lading, invoices to Origin and customs agents in timely manner.
  4. Coordinate and schedule Customs Inspection with Customs Office through customs agents for all import material including Repair and Return, Red Channel, Personal Effect and other necessary material that required customs inspection. This includes to prepare all documents needed for physical inspection to Customs in timely manner.
  5. Review, analyze and provide reports of export import realization, iron and steel permit realization, rock sample export permit quota realization or other permit quota realization report.
  6. Monitor customs clearance process (PIB/PEB) up to SPPB/ NPE including maintain consistent communication with customs officer and diligently provide respond to any issue to avoid delay. Distribute Import (SPPB) for both Green and Red Channel goods and/or Export (NPE) in timely manner to customs agents for further process. Coordinate with offsite warehouses and customs agents for material delivery from/to ports.
  7. Coordinate and schedule Import Material Quarantine Inspection performed by Indonesian Agricultural Quarantine Agency (IAQA) for Rock Sample export process.
  8. Ensure adherence to General Accounting Principles, Company Policies, Principles of Business Conduct (PBC), Anti-Corruption (FCPA), Human Rights, SINCERE, etc.

The background, education, and work experience :

S1 Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering or Business Management, or equivalent with at least 5 years working experience in similarly relevant field. Experience in export import activities or same experience in a related industry.

2. Smelter Operation Readiness – Document Control (Non-Staff)

The purpose of this position is:

Create, administer, maintain all related documents to meet formal requirements and required standards in supporting Manyar Smelter and PMR groups meeting their objectives.

The key duties and responsibilities of this position are:

  1. Perform function and duties using the standard Freeport system including ACONEX, AUTODESK Construction cloud (ACC), SAP and Enablon.
  2. Maintain all sites drawing storage from Manyar Smelter and PMR to ensure the availability of archived drawings are current for all future projects.
  3. Maintaining registered document and drawing register, work pack register, testing and commissioning registers etc.
  4. Transmitting of all Design documents and keeping record.
  5. Create and implement all document management and control procedures.
  6. Work directly with the Project team to support day to day document control requirements.
  7. Create work packs for the constructions team and Maintenance of the construction folder.
  8. General administration support to the wider project team including filing, printing and other duties as required.
  9. Coordinate Capital Project’s Drawing distribution across Manyar Smelter and PMR operational sites through network system and hardcopies.
  10. Interface with Freeport corporate engineering office to ensure critical drawings are properly transferred, received and distributed throughout site.
  11. Develop computerized drawing archiving system to maintain all Manyar Smelter and PMR drawings.
  12. Provide service for all personnel at site to access all drawings, including historical piping layout, power line, land contour, P&IDs, PFDs, and SLDs, etc.

The key challenges in this position include:

  • All site drawings are received and distributed through electronic transfer using the standard Freeport system on a frequent basis or as required.
  • Manage document control budget to ensure no over expenditures.
  • Manage the functionality of all document control equipment, for example printers, plotters, etc.

The background, education, and work experience needed to succeed in this job are:

  • Technical High School (STM) with 5 years of experience in a Document Controller role on a design and construct project. Experience is preferable related to administrative qualifications of office management, having knowledge of AutoCAD system, able and understand to read drawing especially drawing design coding system. Strong working knowledge of MS Office, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Team Binder. Experience working as a member of an interdisciplinary team would be an advantage.

3. Smelter Operation Readiness – Engineer, Civil

The Purpose of this position:

Provide excellent civil engineering services, including draft/sketch, project schedule, cost estimation, AFE, manual, preliminary plan and detail design preparation, and material procurement for all area, according to Safety and International Standard and project support during plant operations for all areas in order to ensure the achievement of the customers’ needs and requirements within the budget and time frame according to company’s policies and procedures.

The key duties and responsibilities of this position are:

  1. Coordinate with other discipline engineer to develop engineering design, including draft/sketch, calculation, preliminary plan, cost estimation, final concept, detail design, and project execution manual, in order to provide detail engineering guideline to complete the project within the allocated budget according to regulations and standards.
  2. Prepare function, specification, calculation, and material in one data sheet follow the Freeport Standard.
  3. Perform one discipline for calculation and design of standard task to be processed by designer.
  4. Review actual project construction progress and provide solution on project construction problem through a good coordination and meeting with relevant party, in order to ensure the development of project according to plan.
  5. Review and monitor projects budget, in order to ensure the achievement of projects’ objectives within the allocated budget.

6. Eng., Underground Geotech GBC #1C

Provide geotechnical recommendation, support and services to GBC Mine Operations by performing ground inspection, collecting geotechnical/geological information and assessing ground condition in order to achieve the safe and efficient mine operations.

The key duties and responsibilities of this position are:

  1. Actively perform ground inspection, monitoring, and geotechnical/geological data collection to review ground support in development, rehab, and preventive support maintenance (PSM) at production area against stress created by mining activities (both abutment and load static stress). Communicate findings effectively and propose an improvement to the existing practices or standard procedures in order to manage the ground support hazards in GBC mines operations based on geotechnical perspective.
  2. Design ground support for rehab and development drift based on ground condition assessments for existing or new development drifts both at production and at high occupancy facilities in order to achieve production target safely. It requires also providing an alert system for unstable geotechnical condition.
  3. Plan, monitor and assess cave propagation by continuously monitoring of surface subsidence, installation of TDR instruments and conducting cave inspection. It requires a robust and comprehensive TDR and open hole drilling plans by close communication with related parties for allocating rigs in timely manner.
  4. Provide and communicate actively on geotechnical hazards and forthcoming impacts for development and operation of critical mine facilities, such as ventilation raises, ore passes and other production facilities.
  5. Provide of routine monitoring and attend regular meeting and discussion of wet muck hazards in GBC Mine operations. Work closely with Geotechnical Superintendent to provide wet muck hazard map and communicate with stake holder. Drafting an official report to Department of Energy and Mineral Resources (DEMR).
  6. Develop skills of subordinates following plans.
  7. Meet the PTFI Safety and Environmental Programs and standards.

7. Smelting & Refinery – CRO Steam Turbine Generator & High Pressure Steam Superheater

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Preparation and periodical review of Standard Operation Procedures for system.
  • Control Room Operation of the Steam Turbine Generator C 8.5 R14 ERX Japan Company and High Pressure (HP) Steam Superheat BOUSTEAD INTERNATIONAL HEATERS BIH 765, including start up and shut down in safe, reliable, efficient manner while ensuring environmental compliance.
  • Communication and or coordination with the Local Operator, Hot Metal Operator staff, Steam Let-Down Operator to ensure cooperation for all operation activities including for periodic switching/confirmation tests, if any.
  • Provision of trouble shooting and or proposals for efficiency improvements on systems, Unit and or Plant operations, to the Engineer.
  • Familiar with all local plant system either equipment, piping, layout, and emergency part in essential action on emergency case plant or blackout
  • Preparing of defect reports to SAP both for DCS or Local Operator finding.

  • Communication and or coordination with the control Room Operator, Hot Metal Operator staff and Steam Let-down system operator to ensure cooperation for all operation activities including for periodic switching/confirmation tests, if any.
