Tax Supervisor

Job SummaryThe Tax Supervisor is responsible for supervising daily tax operations, ensuring timely and accurate calculation, reconciliation, and reporting of all tax obligations in compliance with applicable regulations. This role provides oversight in preparing and filing tax returns, managing payroll taxes, and supporting corporate tax compliance to minimize risks and maintain the company’s financial integrity. The position contributes to organizational goals by safeguarding compliance, reducing exposure to penalties or disputes, and strengthening the reliability of financial reporting.Job Description:Tax planning and optimisation

  • Calculate and review Deffered taxes & monthly corporate income tax calculation (Current tax expense), including timing different for ODI, nondeductible expenses by validating transaction data and documentation, recorded on timely bases every monthly financial closed

Tax Compliance

  • Support compliance with local, regional, and national tax laws by monitoring applicable regulations, interpreting changes to assess business impact, and maintaining updated tax compliance policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular tax-related regulatory updates and training by developing relevant materials and delivering presentations to stakeholders to ensure stakeholders’ awareness and compliance with current tax regulations.
  • Validate and calculate tax liabilities by collecting transaction data, identifying non-deductible or exempt items, reconciling net tax payable or refundable, and ensuring completeness and accuracy of monthly tax payments.

Tax Payment and Reporting

  • Prepare and file tax returns by preparing required forms, consolidating supporting documents, ensuring form completeness, submitting to the tax department, escalating issues or rejections, and generating tax payment codes using tax portals to ensure timely and compliant submissions.
  • Manage and process payroll taxes (e.g., independent contractors), 23/26, 4 ayat 2 & VAT by producing and distributing contractor tax statements, and filing regulatory payroll tax forms to ensure compliance, timely and accurate reporting.
  • Provide clarifications on irregular or unusual transactions to the relevant stakeholders to ensure accurate tax reporting and resolution of issues.
  • Ensure the backup of digital tax records and conduct periodic reviews to verify completeness, accuracy, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Reconcile & review taxes and manage corporate tax reporting by verifying and reconciling tax accounts, investigating variances, and preparing and submitting VAT, PPh 21, 23/26, 4 ayat 2, VAT, and annual corporate tax returns to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Prepare statutory filings by coordinating with external auditors and providing required data to ensure accurate and timely submission of audited financial statements.
  • Ensure on entertainment & promotion list provided on timely basis
  • Prepare response SP2DK with sufficient data from internal or external to response the letter with timely based on the tax regulation

Audit & Tax Disputes

  • Support on tax audits by preparing required documents and explanation letters, coordinating with internal stakeholders, And any other document or data required for tax audit that will be communicate by Tax Manager or Assistant tax manager
  • Support on tax dispute process by preparing document needed for tax dispute (tax objection, tax appeal) by communicate with internal stakeholders.

Process Improvement & Automation

  • Provide support on FAT process improvements by gathering inputs, identifying opportunities, and assisting in system or workflow enhancements to improve efficiency with digitalization process.
  • Support monitoring of implemented improvements by tracking performance goals, collecting feedback, and maintaining optimized workflow documentation to drive continuous enhancement.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Fiscal Administration, or related fields
  • Has 2-4 years of experience in Tax
  • Has experience in corporate tax reporting, VAT and income tax compliance, tax audits, and transfer pricing.
  • Has a Brevet A&B Certification in Taxation is preferred
  • Achievement-oriented, able to work in a team, initiative, high attention to detail, adaptable, and communicative
  • Skilled in Technical Tax Management & Reporting, Technical Accounting & Financial Report, ERP & Tax Automation Systems, as well as Tax Audit & Dispute Handling
  • Strong knowledge of Indonesian tax regulations (PPh, PPN, etc.)
  • Able to speak in Indonesian and English
