Engineering Supervisor - Freezer & Building Maintenance

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise the maintenance and operation of building and refrigeration/freezer systems.
• Develop, implement, and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance programs to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
• Lead and coordinate the Engineering team to ensure all maintenance activities are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
• Monitor the performance of utility systems, including electrical, water, compressed air, refrigeration, and other supporting facilities.
• Manage engineering spare parts inventory to ensure adequate stock levels and cost-effective utilization.
• Conduct troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions for equipment and facility failures.
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with company standards, GMP, food safety, and occupational health and safety regulations.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment performance, energy efficiency, and maintenance effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Maintenance Engineering Supervisor, Utility Engineering Supervisor, or a similar supervisory role in the FMCG Food & Beverage Manufacturing industry.
• Experience with industrial refrigeration systems, particularly ammonia refrigeration is required.
• Strong understanding of preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance systems.
• Experience in engineering spare parts planning, inventory control, and maintenance documentation.
• Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
